Spigit; the SaaS Provider for Crowdsourcing Innovation Raised $13M

Spigit, the leading SaaS provider for crowdsourcing innovation has recently announced $13M funding raised by it’s parent company Mindjet Corporation.

The round that raised $13 million was led by its largest current investor, Investor Growth Capital (“IGC”) and Spigit intends to utilize the funds to expand its global sales and marketing efforts, as well as extend the research and development operations.

Spigit’s clients include Citigroup, Pfizer, UnitedHealth Group, IBM, Polaris Industries, and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) and Spigit claims over $1 billion in revenue generated by its clients from Spigit-backed innovation programs.


Spigit crowdsourcing software allows companies to draw on the skills and expertise of those crowds already familiar with a company to solve and execute business demands in order to create significantly better results than are typically found by individuals or small teams.

In particular, Spigit helps companies in inventing new products, identifying new markets, improving customer experience, streamlining processes and increasing employee engagement with innovation management.
