Quikr, the online cross-category classified portal has reported the acquisition of RealtyCompass, a real-estate analytics platform, to enhance its offerings in the property space.

RealtyCompass provides builder ratings along with detailed project analysis to users as well as investors to help them make informed decisions. With this acquisition, Quikr will  enhance its services as it plans to develop the RealtyCompass platform by adding project approvals, social sentiment analysis and user credit score, among others.

RealtyCompass was co-founded by Nimesh Bhandari, Sankara Srinivasan and Alok Mishra in 2013 and within two years it attracted a good number of users. It will be part of QuikrHomes now.

On part of Quikr, this is the second acquisition after the Indian Realty Exchange (IRX), a mobile-first aggregator of real estate agents. Quikr has also invested in A N Virtual World Tech, the company that runs hyper-local search engine providing 360-degree street views under, part-owned by Indian geo-spatial technology company Genesys International Corp.
